On Saturday night, Bradley athletics released their first mascot since 1996 before their contest with Loyola. The gargoyle, as voted on by students and the community, was named “Kaboom!” after the tagline said by hall of fame Bradley announcer Dave Snell. The character was welcomed by fireworks and screaming fans.
